Inspired by the work of Virginia Woolf and Joan Didion, Renee Ebert has always been fascinated by the search for purpose, personal identity and most of all personal freedom. Renee is the author of poetry and an essay on redemption which were anthologized in The Company of Women.

Renee is the author of two forthcoming works of contemporary fiction: Winter Trees and Dead Eyes in Late Summer. As an informal student of history – especially the twenties and thirties – Renee has a degree in English Literature from Georgetown University. She is a native of New Jersey who grew up “in the shadow of the Empire State building” and lived in the South Bronx and spent many years in Southern California. She now lives in Orlando with her husband, Louis J.Wasser.
